I wanted to wait until my 6th use to write a review, and this weekend was the 6th time we've used this kayak since purchasing in March 2021. For under $150, I really recommend this product. This is by far the most accessible way to get on the water. I throw this thing in the trunk of my Honda civic and go wherever I want to kayak.

It takes me about 10 minutes to fully set up, and a quick 10-15 minutes to dry it off, let out the air and put it back in it's case. The pump is real cheap but I don't foresee it breaking on me for a while. It still get's the job done relatively quickly. Bring a couple towels, drain the kayak through the drain hole, wipe it off dry, let the air out, wipe it off again, then fold it up. Very easy to use in my honest opinion.

The inflatable seats are actually far more comfortable than the hard plastic seats of a kayak you'd rent, and at 6'2" 235 lbs, I am very comfortable in the back seat sitting cross legged, while my girlfriend sits up front. This kayak is a bit slow compared to plastic kayaks, but it is very wide and stable. It's a true joy to take around calm water. It's certainly not meant for any type of choppy water, and I am okay with that.

The paddles aren't great, but they don't need to be as we just take it around calm waters. I might upgrade the paddles soon to something a bit longer, but give them a go at first as you might be totally okay with them. Plus their collapsibility is great.

I haven't had any leaks yet and I do take good care of this thing. Don't launch around rocky areas and you should be good based on my experience. From my perspective, getting 6 uses out of this thing I purchased for $135 was all I needed to justify my purchase. Renting a kayak costs $25-$50 around me so this thing has already paid for itself, with the added benefit of having the freedom to take it where I want.

Seems like some people in the comments haven't had the same experience, but I've been very pleased.
Buy this kayak, get a couple life jackets, get a cheap dry bag and suddenly you have the freedom to kayak any lake, bayou, or calm body of water around you for about $200. Sounds pretty good to me

We were warned that a two-person kayak is nicknamed a "Divorce Boat". My wife really wanted one, so I threw caution to the wind and bought this as a Christmas gift.

Well, it's been several years now, and I can report we're still happily married and we love our kayak. We've taken it out on small lakes and a couple times along the shores of Lake Superior. Since this was our first two-person kayak, it did take some uh… getting used to it and syncing our paddling. So I can definitely see how it gets the reputation. But we have enjoyed it thoroughly once we got our timing down.

It's not the most maneuverable thing, so don't expect to be running this through an Olympic slalom. The water resistance is also pretty high compared to a nice fiberglass or even plastic kayak, which was to be expected. We learned this the hard way when trying to paddle against a pretty strong current in Lake Superior. I also wouldn't really recommend this for going out very far from shore. It's not unstable, just not designed for that.

We haven't had any leaks over the several summers we've used it. Inflating it is a bit of a chore, but well worth it given the ease of storage and portability. It's not super light, so I would not hike this over a long distance. But if you pull up to a parking lot or are staying on the shores of a lake, it's perfect.

The bag is great! We can store the kayak, the paddles, the pump, and both of our life vests. Which was a huge bonus. For storage you're basically looking a couple boxes of office paper in terms of size. Just don't store it in the garage over the winter.

Edit: Minor fix in the second to last paragraph. Changed to "so I would _not_ hike this over"

    Nice inflatable and no leaks
It took me a little longer than it probably should to inflate as my 70yr old arthritic hands got tired Ordered a new electric pump and should go easier next time This boat is durable fits two normal sized adults comfortably Can't wait to get it on the river!

I hesitated when choosing inflatable kayaks. I thought they'd be flimsy and people would laugh because it was the (really) cheap way to kayak. Clearly I don't care what people think lol. Let me preface this by saying I own a Jeep and can put two standard kayaks on my roof rack; however, I am a single mother in her 40's with one remaining child at home. He is a young disabled adult and I thought inflatable kayaks would he much easier for us to load and unload. (I was right) and our garage doesn't have storage space after being consumed with 2 vehicles, a motorcycle, an ATV, a tractor and whatever else is in there.

I purchased 2 of these (the two seaters) in case my other sons wanted to join us at some point. My son and I have went kayaking 4 times so far with these. They are sturdy, they hold air, you can kayak with one person or two. We have taken our large Golden Retrievers on these with us. They easily fold up into their bags along with the seats, paddles, and skegs. They steer just fine. When you're out on the water passing others on "real" kayaks, you don't even think about it, you just enjoy yourself. I 100% recommend these to anyone on a budget or if you don't want the hassle of lugging around (or storing) traditional kayaks. The only advice I have is get an electric pump instead of the manual pumps they come with. We bought one for $12 at Walmart that plugs in a cigarette lighter. On a hot day, you'll appreciate the least amount of effort. It takes us 15 minutes to prepare everything and inflate 2 of them and get into the water. As long as you follow the inflating instructions and let it dry thoroughly before packing in its case for storage, you'll be just fine. I found out in my state, these also have to be registered with the Department of Watercraft just like a regular kayak. Registration was $25 each, good for 3 years. Definitely recommend these!

If I rated this purely on its functionality, I couldn't give it a full 5 stars, but at the price point it's at, it's a tremendous value.

It inflates easily – the only knock I might give it is that it has 3 DIFFERENT types of inflators – fortunately the electric pump I just got from Amazon worked great with all three types. I have not yet used the manual inflator that came with it. All of the valves do an impressive job of restricting the airflow to one direction (in!).

It deflates as easily as could be reasonably expected. The two main valves can be completely opened for easy, rapid deflation and the other valves are fairly easy to squeeze and deflate.

Obviously, it's not "Zodiac" style construction – that would cost hundreds of dollars and weigh a lot more, but the vinyl is reasonably thick and well welded at the seams.

I was shocked at how stable it was when I first rolled into it. I expected the floor to bend or buckle and had originally thought of fabricating a hard floor for it, but I don't think that's necessary. The boat was hardly effected by my entering it!

The ONLY thing that keeps it from being a perfect (for the great price) score is that (no surprise) there's not really a lot of legroom for two people. Kids might be able to stretch out, but most adults will either have their knees at a considerable slant or will sit cross-legged. Overall, it's still fairly comfortable, but I should point out the seatbacks don't really give a great amount of support. I fear that a prolonged cruise might make my weak lower back pay the consequences, but most of the rigid kayaks I have used weren't a whole lot better.

So, not to be confused for a six-hundred-dollar-plus kayak, but a darn fun, good, portable kayak at a bargain price. I honestly do not know how they can manufacture, double-box, ship, and profit at this price. The poles are decent, and I would have expected them to cost $20 each at a sporting goods store.

So, as long as you know the legroom is a bit tight, and the seats don't offer perfect support, you will love this kayak and have fun in it.

    Hope this helps!

Amazing! been using it for more than 2 years now! its super fun, easy to inflate and deflate, sturdy and confortable. its a nice experience to have one of these. Been using it at lakes and has withstand the time and use like a champ. I got a small hole once but due to bad user handling. I was able to fix the hole in 5 mins with a regular intext patch. its been a year since that hole was fixed and dosnt leak anything at all. The size is perfect to fit 2 adults plus a small child. you can sit 2 adults of 70 kg each without any issues it resist very well the weight. The colors are very nice, the paddles are great and in good shape after all this time and use. Highly recomend it. its super fun! and you will have countless memories with your kids on it.

We've been using this for two years. 2 slightly lighter-than-average adults plus a small child fit into the kayak (below the weight limit). We take it on the lake near our house. We've overall been very pleased with the maneuverability and ease of assembly. The whole thing can fit inside the trunk of a car.

We had a cheaper inflatable boat (the Intex Explorer series), which had terrible maneuverability and almost no back support for rowers. The difference between that and this kayak is like night and day. In the kayak, we can maneuver up calm creeks and across open water on the lake. The seats, while not extremely sturdy, at least help you stay upright so you can paddle.

The only real complaint I have is that, during a few deflations, a valve got stuck. This could have been due to user error screwing it in, but I had to use pliers to unscrew it in order to load the kayak into the car. Since then, there seems to be a slow leak on that side (as in one side feels a bit soft at the end of a trip). Nonetheless, the kayak is still very usable for short trips around the lake. I haven't given up on fixing it. I feel like we can probably get it to hold air like it should with a little work.

Not a bad inflatable kayak for 2 seasons, though. Definitely recommend if (like us when we bought this) you don't have the vehicle or the funds for a traditional kayak. I may actually prefer it to a traditional kayak for ease of transport.

The target audience for this kayak is not going to be someone that does constant kayaking. Get a hard one and haul it around. This inflatable though is great for people that only occasionally do light recreational paddling.

We live close to a lake that is about an 8 minute walk. We leave the kayak and seats in the included bag and carry the paddles separately to split the load. It's easily carried to and from. I wouldn't want to carry it too much further without getting a more comfortable means of carrying it.

The included pump inflates in the up and down strokes, and it does it surprising fast. There is a ruler-like gauge included that matches up to markings on the main air compartments so you know exactly when to stop inflating. Lakeside set up takes about ten minutes total.

Given the flat bottom, I think the kayak still tracks well. Not a fast mover, but much better than I expected. This is a great kayak for the price and if you are a casual user, you save a lot of space on storage.

In my state, you have to register kayaks. To do that you need the HIN number. Thankfully answered questions on Amazon pointed to where that is located because Intex tells you completely wrong. But even knowing where it should be it is almost impossible to see. In my photo, it is circled in red and you still can't tell it is there. Of course, the registering agent said that these are also found on a sticker on the box. So save yourself some hassle and get it from the box (see other pic).

I bought this 2 person blow up kayak Jan 2020. I had a plastic 2 person kayak and a single person kayak prior. I take this blow up one EVERYWHERE! People always ask me if I love it and I have got at least 4 people to buy them if not more since strangers on the lakes and rivers always ask me if I like it.
    PROS:
*Takes 5 minutes to hand pump.
*No roof rack required. Since it's a 2 person kayak you can park one car at the beginning and one at the end of a river and neither of you need a roof rack. Deflates and folds up fine.
*Idk if the common misconception is that it's lie an innertube or floatie material but it thick and durable. I've taken this out on choppy Lake Michigan, rivers and small lakes.
*Why did it take me 3 years to write a review? The other day my friend and I took the worst kayaking trip ever on this thing. We dropped in somewhere we never did before on a river and there was like….hardly any water. We were bottoming out and scraping over rocks. The rudder on the bottom kept getting us stuck and this thing did not pop. 5.5 hours of hitting rocks and I said I need to write a review lol
*The CONS which are minor but the rudder underneath prevents you from using kayak launches. It will also get you stuck on rocks if you are in shallow water. I used to launch from a little hill to get in the river with my plastic one and can't with this because of the rudder.

I have got a lot of friends who never kayaked to go with me since it's 2 person and really no hassle to transport and blow up. They then go and order one also so we can bring more friends. Legit great purchase.

My autistic son and I wanted to find an outdoor activity that we would both enjoy but didn't want to spend a fortune on a kayak only to find out later that we hated it. Enter this doozy of a kayak! It was fast to inflate with the included pump, the accessories were easy to assemble, and it was very easy to carry to and from the water (not awkward and the weight distribution was even).

So stats (some might find useful). I am 5'2" and 140 lbs and my son is 5'9" and 240 lbs. I was worried that we would be too close to the weight limit to use the kayak safely but it wasn't a problem! Like, at all! We didn't sit low in the water and the kayak was just as stable with both of us as it was with just me. My son sat in front and with the ability to adjust the seats any way we needed to it kept us both very comfortable. Loved it so much I bought two more so the whole fams can go! I can't recommend this kayak enough!!!

I opened this up and inflated it in my living room, but there wasn't a stream or a river or anything in the box. I guess I have to add my own. I tried to test it out in the bathtub, but the bath isn't big enough. I did accidentally pull my shower curtain down off the rail when I tripped over an oar. I hit my head on the side of the kayak instead of the tub, so that was good.

Anyway, then I couldn't get out of the tub because my legs were tangled in the shower curtain and the kayak was on top of me. My dog thought it was funny and jumped on top and started licking my face. I blindly grabbed for something, and accidentally turned on the shower.

Anyway, after I got the bathroom aired out, I managed to pull the kayak out into the back yard and pretended my lawn was a level 4 white waters thing. It helped that the sprinklers activated in the middle of it all. The dog jumped on top of me again.

Finally, i strapped the thing to the top of my car and drove up to the nearest mountain stream. I had forgotten that the kayak was both inflatable *and* deflatable. The wind kept trying to pull the kayak up off the car, but I'd tied it tight enough, it just resulted in less traction on my steering. Which is a bad thing on mountain roads. The car went off the side and rolled over and over, landing on its top in, ironically, a mountain stream.

So, with the car upside down on top of the kayak, me in the car, and the whole mess in the stream, we floated all the way back down through Golden, past the Coors factory, and out the east side of Denver.

My car was totaled. But the kayak was awesome. I recommend it. Just, make sure you have a mountain stream handy, and deflate it before you tie it to the top of your car.

I'm not much of a reviewer. In fact, this might be my first one for Amazon. However, my maiden voyage has inspired me to make sure this product gets the rating it deserves! Keep in mind, I live in South Louisiana, so this craft was used by me and my 7 year old daughter to peruse swamps and bayous, so I probably wouldn't venture out into Lake Michigan in it. In fact, I wouldn't take it into the Gulf of Mexico, or even Lake Pontchartrain, which is notoriously windy, and causes the deaths of many fishermen in even their pricey boats. But, for my daughter and I, who are on a budget, this is one cool craft. Sits nice and high on the water, making it easy to maneuver, except during an especially nasty thunderstorm that lasted about 5 minutes (south Louisiana is a tropical climate so that's just one of the possibilities anytime you engage in an outdoor sport). I got a bit creative and used floatables for much of our equipment, and it was really handy that I could position the seats any way I wanted (she's 7, so she can't bait her own hooks yet, so I put her seat facing mine for easy access to her and her rod). And perhaps it will be different after some wear and tear, but my creel snapped in place firmly and I never lost it even after running over logs and a sandbar, and even a concrete slab. So thank you, Intex, for allowing me the opportunity to introduce my daughter to the wonderful world of water sports at a price I could afford. I loved seeing her I awe, and can't wait for our next outing. Oh, as an afterthought, the paddles were terrible, but I'm hearing the same complaint from people that bought a $1000 hard shell kayak. It seems to be the consensus that if you want decent paddles, you have to buy them on your own. And to be clear, they did the trick. They just could use some adjustment and tightening to save the wrists from constant rotation because they don't swipe the water at the correct angle exactly. They easily got me up the bayou a mile and back, though, so that's being nitpicky. Really superior product overall.

My reasons for buying an inflatable kayak included portability and price. But these boats are PAINFULLY slow: I have been paddling for many years and first-timers in plastic rentals went by me like I was standing still. It does track better than expected, with the included skeg, and it is comfortable (I have a bad back). The slowness is what caused me to upgrade to a quality folding kayak, which sets up much faster than an inflatable, but you will pay more.

This kayak is fantastic but if you have back issues, be mindful of the limited support due to the lack of rigidity like the hard side counterpart. It arrived on time, easy to read instructions, quick inflation and operated as described. I will note that when my husband and I took the kayak out on the lake, I sat in the back seat and this spot seemed to provide slightly more back support that the front position. Overall, my husband and I both really enjoyed the ease of transporting, the leg space, the versatility to operate with one or two person.

  25. StylishSophia (verified owner)

Assembling and inflating the kayak is the work of only a few minutes from a standing start. The first time may be a bit longer until you get the hang of it, and understand how the seat pieces attach. The seats are adjustable in their placements, so it may be a bit of trial and error to get it right for a particular individual the first time. This has been used with two adults, and with one adult and an 8-year old. The kayak comfortably worked with a total of 400 lbs of 2 adults on a fresh-water lake without any danger of being swamped. I have not used it on a river or any choppy water (other some slight wind-driven chop on a small lake), so I cannot asses its ability to handle rough water.

The paddle can be adjusted to be symmetrical on each end, or to have each end offset, depending on preference for use in paddling. The kayaks also come with a fixed removable rudder for lateral stability. I prefer to use the kayak with it installed, but others in my family prefer it removed as a matter of personal preference. The kit comes with a manual (not electric in my version) high-capacity, low-pressure hand pump, and it pumps the kayak very quickly. The kayak valves are one-way valves, making it easy to pump the kayak and not lose the pressure when disconnecting the pump after inflation.

When done, the valves on the kayak can be unscrewed to let the air out without difficulty, though it helps to press on the kayak while deflating it to get all the air out quickly and back into its carry bag in the the trunk to go home.

  26. OutdoorOasis (verified owner)

We took our kayak out for maiden voyage. Easy to inflate even with hand pump, about 10 minutes, they have sections 1-5 to inflat, follow them in order, deflating was a breeze, took less than 5 minutes. The inflatable seats have a velcro strip on the bottom of seat and on bottom of kayak. They don't stay in place. The seats come with clip in straps which you can pull tighter to get your seat to stay up straight, however, when you pull the straps tighter it pulls the seat off the velcro and you lose leg room, and I'm only 5'9". I had to pull my knees up and kept hitting them with my oars. They need to improve the seat/strap adjustment on the kayak to allow more leg room and not have the seats pull off the velcro. My back was hurting within 10 minutes as I wasn't able to sit up straight.

We love kayak. It is very comfortable to sit in and more comfortable than a regular kayak. It is easy to uninflate and fold up. It has a nice roomy bag to store it in and takes up very little room. It is very easy to inflate with the hand pump. We did buy an electric pump that is less effort but the hand pump is sufficient. The electric pump is also very helpful in deflating the kayak. We found it was easiest to inflate the kayak in our cabin and deflate it there as well. No bugs or dirt. The paddles are good quality. We used the kayak a few times and did spring a leak and we patched it with some glue and it worked fine after that. We did get some more leaks. They were coming at the stress points on the bottom of the kayak so we reinforced all of the stress points with glue. And we decided that since one of us is overweight and causes us to carry more than the 400 recommended pounds that we would try under inflating it a bit from now on. Even when we had a leak it did not completely deflate and we did not swamp. Very happy about that. Also we found that if we would have purchased it from Walmart it would have cost about $80 instead of the $130 we from amazon. But ordering it from Amazon was so easy and it came right to our Campground office. It was worth the extra money for that reason.

I purchased this for my son's birthday. He loves using it by himself and has fallen asleep a couple of times out on the water. It's also large enough for him to have a passenger and be comfortable. We inflated it with the pump it comes with, which was adequate. Fortunately, we have a high-capacity air pump that cuts the setup time. It's extremely stable and wonderful for hanging out on a lake. We were also able to get to scoot along nicely when there was a natural geographic moment when a bald eagle caught a fish and enjoyed his meal at a tree. We are looking at getting a second kayak for my husband and I.

My bestie and I each ordered these kayaks last spring. We spent the summer on the lake day after day kayaking around. I love the convenience of being able to inflate and deflate quickly. We have electric pumps, but the hand pump is honestly quicker and easier. The kayaks aren't super heavy, we were easily able to carry the kayak in it's carrying bag and then tossed our paddles and life jackets in the back of her SUV. In it's bag, I am able to fit it in the trunk of my small 4 door subcompact. At the end of a day on the lake, we were able to each grab an end and pack the kayaks onto shore. There are quick-release valves to remove the air so we pulled the valve and then slowly folded and layed on the kayak to squeeze out as much air as possible. We hung the kayaks up at the end of the season to make sure they were 100% dry and then just folded them back up and put in their bag for next summer! The only negative I can think of is that The seats move around a lot when buckled in. I am a heavy woman (5'6" 230 lbs) and just need more back support while I'm out on the water all day. I had a large cooler and put my back up to that and it helped, but I will definitely be on the lookout for a new option before next summer. These kayaks both came quickly and were priced well. She bought hers on Prime day for about 112.00, and I purchased mine a few weeks later not on sale for right under 150.00. Great deal, and quality product. The heavy duty PVC is very sturdy and I had no qualms pulling the kayak up on the cement boat ramp to dry out. Great product and will likely purchase again for my sister and mother!

I have had this kayak for a few months and been out with it 2 times. I'm not an advif Kayaker so this is just the opinion of a dad wanting to take son out on water. Works great and comes with all the needed accessories. The bag is kinda cheap and will rear easily, but I consider the fact they even give a bag, an extra. You can pick up a sturdier one for under 20 bucks if needed. It blows up easy and breaks down very easy as well!

I did love this experience however we thought 2 decent sized adults could sit comfortably on here but not so much idk if we over inflated it but there was like no room for our legs. I don't like that there is no water proof .. or regular storage space so everything u bring u have to hold unless your on it alone or maybe with a child… I may have over inflated it but theres no clear way to tell when to stop

Just received. Inflated to check it out for any possible defects and it seems all good. It inflates very quickly with the hand pump. I will add an extra star when I am able to float it on the water but that will have to wait till after ice break-up.
I also own a traditional 14' touring kayak, an older seahawk raft (similar to the mariner in construction) and a pack-raft. My kayak is my favourite for speed and maneuverability. I would like to see how this inflatable compares to that. The K2 is also packable enough to lash on my mountain bike alowing for combine cycle/paddle treks which I enjoy. It is much lighter than my hard shell kayak of course as well as my large raft and I'm hoping it tracks much better than my pack-raft. The inflatable seats seem comfortable enough just sitting in them with boat on the floor. The paddles seem reasonably well constructed although I plan to use my favourite carbon fibre one instead. I have added a paracord teather to the skeg as I have read some folks have had them fall off in the water to be lost. Priced reasonable and based on over 15,000 good ratings, I hope the K2 lasts me for many years.

    Update:
Have been able to float this on the lake in recent weeks and it performs well. Inflates reasonably fast by hand pump and tracks good. I don't over-pump it on land, I add air once on the water as the cool water can cause pressure to drop. It got me to my favourite swimming spot just slightly slower than my sea kayak. About a .75 mile paddle.
It fits back into its storage bag well but takes time to get completely deflated before hand. As with my other inflatables, I like to let them dry completely as possible before packing for long periods of time.
Can't wait to go back to the water!

We have very limited storage space, and we often have to move due to work. I wanted a kayak for a long time, but there is just no room for it. Then I discover this gem. Deflates down to a small bag, doesn't cost much. Now my daughter and I go out to the lake every other weekend.

I own 2 hard-shell kayaks that my family has enjoyed taking turns out on the lake. We were looking for a 2 person kayak so that we could all go together, but then the issue of transporting 3 kayaks to the lake would become an issue.
    Enter the inflatable kayak.
Transportation is no problem with this thing. Most any car can handle it deflated.
Inflation is a breeze. In fact, I found myself using the provided inflator for other inflatables around the house.
I was concerned how sturdy this kayak would feel compared to my hard-shell ones and was pleasantly surprised. It actually feels more sturdy and secure (which gives me extra comfort when I have my special needs child along with me.)
The space in this thing is also impressive. At 6'4", I have had no problem sitting comfortable alone, or with any 2nd person so far.
I recently used it in the ocean and would highly recommend it.

Great product. I purchased toward the end of summer for $94. So the the price does fluctuate with the season. Took me about 20min in set up the 1st time. About 15min for subsequent attempts. I've taken it out 3-4 times in the last 2 months. Collapses down small enough to fit in the trunk of a small car. The paddles work, but I felt were on the small side for me. This kayak is somewhat wide also. I ended up getting a 96inch paddle but i'm 5'10''. My 5 yr old daughter does ok with it. When I stretch out my legs, I have to tuck my feet to the sides of the front seat. The skin of the boat is reasonably strong. You'd have to scrape against some jagged metal or be hit head on by a hard pointy branch for this to puncture.

For the boating itself, this craft is ok. It doesn't seem as smooth or can go as fast as a hard plastic boat. But that's fine considering it's $100-200 less. I even took it through some mild rapids (still choppy enough to splash me good) and it held up fine.
The fin/skeg works fine and is easy to install but requires decent hand strength to remove (a good thing). It basically clicks in place and you have to push a tab down to remove it. I drilled a hole and put a fishing line through it in case the skeg falls off as suggested by others, but this is unnecessary. I even started heading away from shore once and the skeg, and only the skeg, hit an underwater boulder. I was going about 3mph when it hit and came to a dead stop, all 200+ lbs of the boat and people. The skeg edge was a little scratched but in place at the end. Maybe Intex updated the skeg after it 1st came out. I'm going to remove the fishing line before the next trip because it is unnecessary and gets seaweed, etc caught in it creating more drag.

If you were to give me the choice (price not an issue) b/w a hard plastic boat and this, I'd pick the hard boat. That said, I'm very happy with this very inexpensive and easy to transport kayak.

Wokrs well for a beginner kayaker and a good alternative for trying out kayaking. Used for a whole season and never had any problems with it holding air. Easy to transport although we did get tired of having to inflate it before use.

This inflatable kayak set earns a solid 5-star rating from me.

It's an excellent value for the price and provides endless fun on the water. However, I've found that storing it after use and keeping it dry can be a bit of a hassle. Additionally, getting in and out of the kayak can be challenging at times.

Overall, despite these minor drawbacks, the Intex Explorer K2 Inflatable Kayak Set is a fantastic choice for adventurous outings and offers great value for money.

My wife and I each have 17.5' Perception sea kayaks. We paddle a fair amount and they are great. But if you're not planning for strictly a paddle trip, big boats are kind of annoying to drive around with. Enter inflatables. We recently did a two week Baja trip and wanted the ability to paddle without the hassle of two large sea kayaks on the roof while driving dirt roads for hundreds of miles. Reading other reviews (and contrasting with the price) we figured this was worth a shot.

So…this boat is a winner. We took it out several times on the Sea of Cortez. It handles swells surprisingly well, but don't expect to take on big rollers. It's a very stable boat; you can stand in it in flat water conditions. Pretty great for fishing, cruising, and day paddles. Overall, our experience was pretty great; I'm happy with the purchase. Note that it's a day cruiser, NOT a sea kayak…it has some drag, but it will get you there. The skeg stay attached reasonably well and is very needed if windy or in a current. As other reviewers suggested, a leash is probably a good idea for it. It easily has room for two people and day-paddling stuff (we're 5'11" and 5'6" and in good shape, typically bringing snacks, water, sun screen, camera/phone, hiking bags, bilge pump, boat pump, and some warm clothes just in case). You could probably do two people and an overnight's worth of stuff, but it will be pretty tightly packed. The paddles that come with it are adequate, but if you have quality paddles, bring them instead. Follow the inflation order on the boat (the ports are numbered 1, 2, 3, etc). The pump that comes with it makes short work of the inflating process. As other reviewers have mentioned, the floor valve should be Boston valve, like the two hulls are, but it's not. Whatever, not that big of a deal.

Now the thing I didn't see mentioned a lot was packing it down and storage/transport. It'll pack down to about 30"x12"x18" (ish – and it's soft/flexible in a bag so those are only rough dimensions). Bring a rag to wipe it down with when you're done (sounds obvious, but I forgot). I found the easiest way to pack it up is to deflate in reverse order of the fill, then kinda flip the two large hull bladders to the other side of the floor. So kinda make it go inside-out, as if you wanted to make the bottom of the boat into the floor of the boat. This generally allows you to get all the air out and keep the deflate ports accessible. You can also then fold the boat (hotdog style) and start rolling it up. It'll pack down nice and small. Once packed down, the bag is a bit flimsy. I wouldn't try to hump it too far; seems like the bag is better to just store all the junk in the back of your vehicle. If you plant to hike the boat in, get a decent bag for it.

I have 3, have owned them a season now and have been torture testing them, did great on over 20 lake trips this season, even did pretty good on my 8 river trips on a river that got up to class 4 (Poudre River), porting is not good enough for the larger rapids so you have to get to the side to dump it out occasionally if you are doing class 3 and up, I was very impressed how it could handle rock hit after rock hit in the turbulent waters

One did have a hole appear on one of the seams on the inside of the boat and I have not attempted a repair yet but I got a lot of use out of them and abuse them plenty by storing them in my car and unwittingly allowing friends to over inflate them, so I can see why the hole appeared

All in all I am very satisfied even if one of the three now has a repair awaiting it

    *UPDATE

I have had these for a year now, all three got holes in storage, 4 holes in total including the seem I never got around to patching up.

I love this product and I will likely buy another one. What I don't like is how they attempt to get you to spend an additional $100 plus to get the very same kayak with paddles and two types of pumps. The cheaper version comes with two sets of paddles and a manual pump! Where is this price difference? You mean to tell me someone has to spend over $100 just to get a battery operated pump?

I wish I had realized that it came with paddles because I did buy a set separately. What you see in the picture is truly what you get!

This thing's tough! This is not some crappy air mattress or blow up pool toy. This can take quite a beating and it is a great time! It also comes in a carry bag. I throw it in the back of my Acura. The fact that I can have a family sedan and a kayak is easy to transport in it is awesome!

One cool thing about an inflatable kayak versus a hard kayak is that if you decide to take a dip in a lake or a river, it's pretty easy to get back into. These don't flip over as easily as the hard plastic kayaks. It's also nice if you have littler ones with you. The sides go up higher and it just feels more stable.

Used it for the first time this weekend. Was in Storage for 2 years. I inflated it just to have it deflate an hour later. Took the pump with us to the lake and pumped it up again. Got in the water and climbed inside. Started paddling around and was having a good time. Noticed after about 20 minutes that one side was loosing air and starting to fold. After 30 minutes it was getting worse. Got out and examined it wondering what was wrong. Couldn't find any holes in it. But it was deflating. Aired up again and just let it sit there. Checked on it after about an hour and sure enough, it was loosing air on the bottom and #2 side. $$$$ money gone!

There are so many high-quality features about this kayak! It is easy to inflate, the seats are super comfortable, it is incredibly maneuverable, and it stayed balanced and buoyant despite a very windy day on a large lake in Idaho. There were small whitecaps on the waves and we were both worried because previous reviewers had said this kayak was best for calm waterways. However, we decided to give it a try to see what this kayak could handle and we never were unbalanced or even close to tipping! Like most kayaks and canoes, it takes coordination and grace to get in and out, but this is a very forgiving kayak. My husband is tall, and the leg room initially was cramped; but since I am short we pulled my chair up as much as it could go and he was quite comfortable. We are so pleased, especially about the affordability!

  45. FitAndFab2024 (verified owner)

Overall a good value. Not the easiest to inflate but not bad. We have found that it is easier to use these without the seat and to be on our knees to get up just a bit higher to paddle easier. One thing that many reviews said and we agree is that there is a poorly placed seam in the top that really hurts when you scrape your hand against it. It feels like you cut your hand each time you paddle. You don't actually cut your hand but it is quite uncomfortable. We purchased gorilla all weather tape to put over the seam and, while that is messy, it absolutely helped.
I think that if you are traveling a lot and want to be able to throw this in your car to get on the water, this is for you. Also if you want to spend a small amount because you just want to check out kayaking or only want to kayak a few times, this is a good deal. If you want to seriously kayak a lot, then just get a real one and pay the large amount of money. For my family, we needed 3 of them and wanted to test out how often we would use them, which was only like 2-3 times per month and only in the hot summer in the Midwest where we only have a couple short months of summer, this is a great deal.

I was skeptical about using an inflatable kayak because when the rivers are low, the bottom drags on rocks sometimes. But my fears of that were much less when I felt the thickness of the material. I opted for a double kayak so I could put my cooler with me and my dog possibly. The seats are applied with Velcro and they attach on the sides with clips. They feel very secure and provide great back support which I love probably the most! Mine came with a hand pump but I use my electric pump for air mattresses and it blows up very fast and easily! The air also comes out very easy when you are done with it. I just used this on a 7 mile kayak trip where I dragged the bottom many times and pulled off on the rocks several times without any issues. Ended my trip fully inflated so

I've had the Sevylor Quikpak K1 1-Person Kayak for 5 years and have done 30+ trips on it and I absolutely love it! My daughter is a very skinny and light 9 year old, but it was getting very awkward last summer with us both on a 1 person kayak. I couldn't have been happier with this beast. It does sit lower in the water and we did drag some in shallow spots, but just a good scootch or two and we were off the gravel. It feels very stable and did not feel like we were ever even close to flipping. We do a leisure creek float and it manuevered great around bends and trees. Not for sure if it was us both rowing at times or if it cuts through the water better than the 1 person we have. We were always bringing up the rear in the 1 person and we were always leading the pack in this one. I sat in the front, because it seemed to be more in the middle, my daughter sit in the back and we had a 36 can size cooler in the back packed with lunch and lots of cold beverages. I had plenty of leg room, my daughter, not so much. She would stretch her legs on the sides in calm water. Easy to inflate and deflate. I love the inflatables and will never do a hard platic one. It's so much more comfortable and in calm water, just lay back, put your legs up and it's like your on a pool float. We have our own oars we love and didn't try the ones that came with it. They do look like would be more comfortable than the cheap made ones that came with my sevylor. My only complaint is no cup holders! Luckily most drinks we had were bottles with lids. If this one holds up like my sevylor, I'll be so happy!

I bought this kayak to use on the rivers near my house in the Pacific Northwest. Here are the pros:

As a one person inflatable, it works really well. The skeg keeps is steady despite some pretty tough currents. I had a blast taking it over 3 foot wake from cargo ships passing by. It's a breeze to pump up — the pump that Intex includes will have it inflated in about 5 minutes if you're especially vigorous, or 10 minutes if you take it easy. Probably the best hand pump I've ever used. Also, the fact that this folds small enough to fit in a small car's trunk is a HUGE plus. It's really convenient to not have to struggle with fastening this onto a car rack.

    The cons:

The construction of this kayak is shoddy. The side of one of the three chambers was pierced by a small rock on the beach that I launched from. Luckily, gorilla tape did the trick and every couple of times I launch the kayak I replace the tape. It's small hole and hasn't gotten any bigger after about a dozen more uses since. I take responsibility for the first hole. But a second hole appeared, on the floor of the kayak, in a very tight little seam that is recessed. I've used traditional vinyl patches, I've used E6000 glue — no luck getting this hole closed. Because of the spot it's in, it does not seem like it will ever be fixed. This hole appeared out of nowhere, maybe 3 months after the warranty expired.

I paid $106 for this kayak and got maybe 15 uses from it. That's great value for money compared to renting one, but it's a shame it didn't even last six months. I'd recommend this kayak to fellow first-timers who want to see if kayaking is a sport they want to commit to. Once it's busted and you've decided you love kayaking enough, it'll probably be worth buying a better quality kayak in the future.

We bought one of these a few months ago, to put the kids in and tow behind one of our regular (non-inflatable, hard) kayaks. Our kids are 5 and 8 and will be able to use this for as many years as they like, until they're old enough to paddle themselves. We bought a second one in order for us to bring two kayaks on a trip without hauling the big ones with us. We used both of them exactly once, but will do it again when needed. My husband (6'0", 220lbs) had a hard time getting in with our 8yo. He was very uncomfortable and had a hard time maneuvering. I didn't have a hard time, but will admit it's obviously not an comfortable as our pricier, nicer kayaks. The seats are definitely meant for slimmer people (I am, he is not) which was part of the problem, I'm sure.

So, if you and your kayaking partner are average-sized, this will work great for you. If you're looking for a way for the kids to have lots of room and maybe even practice paddling while you tow them behind your kayak, this is perfect.

Also, very easy to inflate with the provided manual pump, and very easy to deflate and take home. Once it's home, rinsed off, and dried, and warmed in the sun, the warmth makes it very easy to fold up and put back in the provided bag.

The paddles are low quality, but what do you expect? A nice paddle costs more than this kayak itself. I love that we can adjust them to make them short for the kids.

All in all, this is a fantastic value and I highly recommend it. If we ever have any leaks or issues, I'll update my review. As of this writing, we've only used one of them about 6 times with no sign of it breaking down at all. Fingers crossed it keeps up for years to come!

This boat is rated for 400lb, I weigh in right about 350lb and it did not sink.

Inflation and deflation both take approximately 10-12min with the provided manual pump.

It fits back in the bag with minimal issues.

The seats do not provide good back support and were not comfortable.

Bring Pliers of some sort. valves 1, 4, 5 and the water drain valve are the kind commonly found on pool inflatables like beach balls and water wings. If your hands are wet when you deflate the bloat they are hard to pop back out and open. I was lucky that a person fishing let be morrow pliers, otherwise I would not have been able to deflate the boat.

The boat buckled somewhat under my 350lb weight. If it were a lighter person or 2 lighter people, and the weight were spread out it would probably not be an issue. It wanted to kind of fold in half under my weight. it was ok side to side, but front to back it wanted to fold. This was an issue as it elevated my legs and made sitting very uncomfortable. I plan to modify the boat adding a piece of plywood in the bottom to make it rigid and I think it will help a lot.

This boat seemed fast. Faster than the solid plastic sit on top Kayak I was in last time. It tracked fairly straight as well.

Over all I am happy with my purchase and would recommend this inflatable Kayak.

I have only taken this out once, so I'll try to update my review when I've had more time using it!
I have 2 other typical kayaks, but I bought this one so that I could have friends join me AND so that if I'm traveling, I don't have to strap my kayak on my car – I can just toss this one in and go!! I am so excited for that benefit of this inflatable kayak!!
First impressions: there are 5 separate compartments to inflate in the main kayak, plus 2 per seat. I followed the number markings to be sure I was getting everything pumped properly. I like that you can choose to use 1 or 2 seats! It inflated super fast, I was impressed. I used it as a single seater for my first time out. There was SO MUCH SPACE! I felt like I was in a little pool (if I would have put water in it). Be sure to sit back a bit for just 1 person! The straps that give the back support were helpful, but I definitely felt like I couldn't actually put my weight onto it. Between this and the lack of foot braces, you mainly paddle this with just your arms and not so much your full torso & legs. I felt like I was sitting really low in the kayak, it came up really high around me (especially compared to my typical sit-in kayak that I'm used to). It handled pretty well, although I felt like the breeze impacted me more than usual. I'm not a fan of the paddles that came with it, so I'll probably use a different one instead.
What I like: compact travel size, the big size of space in there, ease of assembly, any chance to kayak is great with me!
What I'm not crazy about: the paddle, lack of back support, less control in there wind (which is to be expected).
What I outright hate: nothing so far!

    1.
I'm very pleased with quality of the boat and ease of inflating and deflating for the price of $125 on prime day. I was not pleased, however, with the backrests of the seats as they would not hold me up. I spent half of the 3-hour trip down the river lying down and paddling as my 79-year-old back hurt so much as I couldn't sit up straight. My solution was to buy a Coleman stadium seat for $16 to replace one inflatable seat that came with the boat and to use a "nada chair" that I already had for the other. Now all is well!

    2.
I bought this for $60 off season prepandemic and SERIOUSLY got my money's worth. This is a mostly positive review but wanted to be upfront about what I paid before these got seriously popular. To me it was worth what I paid but I probably wouldn't spend $125 or more unless I was only using it on FRESH water and stored it in a cool and dry place at all times.

I used this mainly on salt water and in the hot hot heat of Miami. I used it over 25 times mostly with just me (~135lbs, 5'4") or me and a friend (~300lbs total) and even once with 2 of us and a dog – over waves, in currents, fighting strong winds, through shallow mangroves bouncing off of mangrove roots frequently, dragged over rocky beaches, sand, pavement, etc. I was not gentle with this kayak. I was rough with it and it lasted 2 years of heavy use and 1 year of light use before it got its first hole which was on a seam and likely due to heat and salt exposure without washing off soon enough.

It sat in the bag folded in my car in the heat many times which I believe contributed to its ultimate demise.

At the 3 year mark, I hadn't used it in several months and found the small hole on a seam on the upward facing part of the bottom chamber (#1) near where you pump the air in. I found it while out on the water, I could hear it and the bottom was deflating from under me. Luckily, the two side chambers were in tact and there was no real risk of sinking. I also had the pump with me and so I could pump some air as I returned to shore.

I patched it using professional kayak vinyl and HH-66 vinyl cement – worked perfectly after that on ocean in waves, multiple uses. 6 months later another seam hole appeared, in nearly the same spot but this time where a patch just couldn't do the trick because of the ridges in the vinyl (see photo). That's two too many holes for me anyway.

I recently bought an inflatable paddle board that I enjoy more and put some money into so trashing thus finally didn't feel bad.

RIP "Nanner," the yellow kayak. It was definitely fun, convenient, and tough while it lasted!!

Was excited to use as the purchase was a present for a family member.

Was DISAPPOINTED when I opened the package (outside of the return policy, my mistake) to find that the product had been previously used. Skeg had obvious scratch marks. Plastic bag holding materials was ripped open and scratches on the oars. Fortunately, there were no holes or issues with assembling the kayak but when you buy something 'new', you expect new.

Inflation was fairly simple. Instruction manual is a little light on direction but somewhat intuitive. Deflation was straightforward. Took it without the skeg in place for the first trip and the kayak did slide side-to-side but not uncontrollably. Will definitely look to inserting skeg next trip. Was light enough to carry from inflation to water. Oars assembled easily and disassemble in reverse. Used as a two passenger kayak and not a lot of leg room. Will try to use also a single and adjust the seat to accommodate.
Would probably buy again for a 2 person and remains to be seen if it is worthy of a single operator mode.

We absolutely love this kayak! It is so portable. It is easy to inflate, only takes about 10 minutes to fill all three compartments. We like the fact that there are three sections, so that if one would get a leak, the other two will hold. The kayak comes with the paddles, the seats, the little fin at the bottom, and the pump. It's convenient to launch just about anywhere, anytime. The only additional item we had to purchase were two life jackets that were NOT included. It weighs about 40 pounds, which between two people, isn't bad at all. The weight limit is 400 pounds, so two adults can kayak very easily and safely in it. It is very maneuverable if you remember to put the fin on. (Our first time out we forgot, and wound up going in circles, so had to go back to the car to get the fin.) It is sturdy and we're on our third year of use with it. It did form a tiny leak on the inner seam, which we patched, and it held for about a year and a half. This year it began leaking very gradually again, so I repaired the patch with another patch over it, and we've used it twice this year with no leakage. We have never tipped over in it, it's very stable. I like ours so much that I have purchased another Intex kayak for my sister and brother-in-law when they come for a visit so we can go kayaking together.

Very nice kayak. Paddles are ok. Get life vests! If you live in a state like ohio you need to get the Hull ID and register with Dept of boating (BMV works too). Its $30 per raft for 3 years. The serial is not on the boats that I could see but I found it on the box. You can print the certificate from Intex website and
input the hull ID and take to register with proof of purchase. Overall, it's very nice. The pump works well but I'll be getting a battery one. anyone stating it doesn't have a hull ID check the box it came in and cut it off the box and keep with your registration.

Took this thing down the Salt River in AZ and on a lake with two people (one average and one small sized adult). This thing rocks! It helped up well, maneuvered great, and came with a lot of value. If you're looking for something to test if you like kayaking, this is a good value.

  59. GlamGalGrace (verified owner)

It came with a defective slot for the Skeg. I ordered another Skeg from Intex for like $10, which also didn't fit, so I fixed it by melting the edge off the Skeg to get it to slide in. Now it worked but was no longer removable. After the first time using it, it got a puncture on the bottom. I patched it up, but it happened again a few times. Now there's a puncture on the seam which isn't really fixable. I can use it for about 10 minutes but then have to return to shore to fill it. I also lost one of the seats (it blew away), and the replacement seat cost about $60! Also, the carrying bag literally disintegrates. So that lasted a few months. Easy to inflate, takes a long time to deflate and fold up, and hard to wash. Bottom line — fun but a hassle and not durable.

I was debating between this and the Intex Challenger K1 or K2 for myself…not sure if I wanted a 1 or 2 seater, since it's mainly just for me. After a week of obsessing about it and asking random people by the river why they chose the kayak they chose and what they liked about it, I settled on a 2- seater. The Challenger was sold out so I went for this one, and I am SO GLAD I did!

I immediately inflated it to check out the size, comfort, ease of assembly, etc, and I was pleasantly surprised. It wasn't long with hand pump before the whole thing was inflated in my living room and scaring my dog with its presence. I played around with the seat location, since it's adjustable, and settled on pushing the front seat as far back as I could to comfortably fit my long legs and leave ample space behind me to toss my stuff. Because I'm going alone, I wanted setup by the river or lake to be as low-maintenance as possible.

I deflated the kayak by about 30% and was able to fold it into the back of my Grand Cherokee with just one of the back seats folded down and plenty of room to spare. It only took maybe 5 minutes the time I parked at the lake to finish inflating and have it the water! Getting out was just as quick and easy, which was great because a storm was rolling in!

If you're trying to move particularly fast on the water or stay entirely dry, then maybe don't get a large inflatable kayak… I didn't get soaked, but it did take on a decent bit of water as I frantically tried to paddle back across the lake when I noticed the oncoming storm in the distance. It may have been my lack of paddling skills though. Haven't taken it out with anyone else yet, so I'm assuming it'll move along pretty well with a second person paddling. Plenty of room to ride comfortably with a friend or my dog, but it also moves well with just me paddling along by myself. This was the perfect birthday gift to myself, for sure!

I purchased this kayak 2.5 years ago and have enjoyed taking it out, by myself and also with others.

Pros: It's real easy to inflate and handles well. It's sturdy and it takes a lot of abuse to puncture the kayak. And I love that I can haul it around in my itty-bitty Prius and store it in my itty-bitty apartment!

Cons: It's difficult to dry off due to its many folds and crevices. And it's quite heavy/hard to carry when rolled up in its bag. Speaking of the bag, it's flimsy and the seams split very early on. There's a patch kit included, although the stickiness of the patches seems to have decreased over time — a patch I did one year after buying the kayak held with no problem, but the two patches I applied this week didn't have enough stickiness to hold.

Would I buy this kayak again? Absolutely. But I'd get a separate, sturdier bag and a better patch kit to go along with it.

I’m always wary of reviews. But I had to write a review for this kayak. We bought one and loved it so much that we bought a second one. We have now owned both kayaks for over 5 years! Yes – 5 years! We use it in the Gulf of Mexico (near Florida) and take the time to take good care of it (wash and dry) before storing it for long periods of time. This kayak is very sturdy and stable. Getting in and out of the boat is very easy – fantastic. Highly recommended. We once had 2 large adults and 2 middle school students in it at the same time. It was hilarious, but it was perfect for 2 large adults. Also great to have 2 more elementary school kids. Really amazing product!

UPDATED: Very impressed with this inflatable, especially at the price. Took it on the Kings River in Calif and it handled well. The fin dragged on the bottom and glanced off rocks several times and did not work loose. Gouges in the plastic attest to the mistreatment. The paddles, although light, worked good enough even when paddling fast. Was able to easily deflate and place in the back of a Fiat POP 500 at the end of the run.

I was very impressed with this inflatable. First the cons. The pump and paddles that come with the boat work great, but they are light weight and I expect them to have a short life, but 2 paddles and a quality pump can cost more than this whole package. Pros: Light weight, easy to carry by one person when deflated, removable skeg and apparently this has been redesigned. It is about 6" long and fits very snuggly into the track with a double locking tab. Don't think this will accidentally dislodge as noted in other reviews, but I will attach a tether just in case. The skeg does NOT float. There is no paddle storage clips, but these are easily purchased and glued on. There are 5 separate air chambers to inflate and with the included pump, it inflates quickly. The two side chambers have Boston valves that make it easy to fill to the right pressure. The remaining three chambers are the floor, and the two end skirts. Each inflatable seat also has two valves. Sitting in the kayak, there is enough leg room for my 5'10". 6+ footers will fit, but find limited leg room. Rear seat is adjustable and allows you to balance the load. This is my first inflatable kayak. Very different handling characteristics from a hard shell, but I was looking for something I could easily stow on my powerboat and use for exploring shallow areas upstream, get some exercise, and have some fun with the grand kids. So far, I have only had this on the pond and creek at my house. This weekend, I am headed to the Kings River in Central Calif. The water flow is moderately high for the first time in years and will be a good chance to test how this inflatable performs. I will update the review if anything to add. This boat arrived missing the skeg and the reason I buy from Amazon was make clear, even though they are not always the lowest total cost (but usually competitive). One call to customer support and a replacement boat was on its way with one-day shipping. No hassle, quick and friendly help. The replacement arrived, I pulled out the missing skeg, boxed it up, slapped on the return address tag and handed the package back to the driver. They pay the return shipping. Simple! Thank you Amazon for doing it right!

The Intex K2 Explorer Kayak proves up to the task as I cruise Cedar Creek Lake on a hot summer day. Here's how it went! First, opening the K2 packaging showed the care Intex places in making sure your kayak arrives safely and complete. I pulled out the kayak and everything was included. The User Guide was simple to follow and the kit even comes with its own air pump. Two Kayak paddles were also included and were easy assembled in a couple minutes without even reading the directions! So, there's nothing else you need for your K2 except a life jacket for yourself and a second cruiser.
It took me about 12 minutes to inflate the K2 and get her ready for the maiden voyage from my LakeHouseLifer boat ramp on the water at Cedar Creek Lake, in Gun Barrel City, Texas. (about an hour southeast of Dallas) LakeHouseLifer is an outdoor recreation site that celebrates boating, fishing, kayaking, canoeing, hiking, camping and the outdoors so we understand the importance of performance and safety for anything marine related!
Sitting in the K2, I found the size for legroom and inflatable seats to be comfortable and surprisingly supportive. I had a steady, 10 mph south wind on this day so from the photo's you can see some slight wave chop in the background. Once launched, as I was the single cruiser, I found the steering and handling to be very adequate, even given the slightly bumpy lake conditions. On the return, I had to paddle a bit harder to fight the upwind current but here again, I found the K2 (and me) up to the task! Pulling the K2 back up the ramp was a breeze and she was ready to go for more the rest of this summer!
In summary, the K2 was all that it was advertised to be and I was pleasantly surprised with the ease of set-up, comfort, safety and maneuverability even in the light chop. I'm really looking forward to the cooler fall temperatures as there's nothing more inviting than cruising a calm lake in the fall in my own kayak with a friend or loved one!
